Group Trivia Quiz Description
I. Description
What: Create a trivia quiz with a group of other students.
When: Your trivia quiz is due Wednesday, October 10th.
How: Create a quiz by using Google Drive Forms (it's a survey/questionnaire).
Details: You and your group members will take the ten trivia questions you wrote about Missoula, Montana, or the U.S. and make a short trivia quiz using Google Drive Forms. After you create your quiz, you will post it to one of your group member's blogs. Each group will then take the other two groups' quizzes! This is a great way for us to practice using superlatives (biggest, most beautiful, etc.), learn new information about the city, state, and country we live in, and have fun working with our classmates!

What: Video Presentation on American Interview Information
When: Video Presentations are due by Wednesday, Sept. 26
Description:
In your video presentation, you and your partner will answer the following information:
1. What did you want to find out? (questions)
2. What were your predictions?
3. Who did you interview?
4. How did your interviewee respond?
5. How accurate were your predictions?
6. How would you describe this person (using adverbs/adjectives)?
Grading:
Your presentation will be graded based on the evaluation form (below) that you create with your classmates:

For Week 4, you will create a short presentation on VoiceThread. To start, make sure that you have set up an account. If you have an account, you are ready to begin!
Deadline: Monday, Wednesday, Sept. 12th
Directions
1. Create a new Voicethread.
2. Make sure your Voicethread has a title (e.g. My Three Best Friends).
3. Upload three photos--one for each of the friends/family members you described in your week 3 HW activity.
4. Record a description of each person using BOTH adverbs/adjective AND explanation/examples.
5. Post your final VoiceThread Presentation to your blog on a new blog post.

Final Presentation HW
1. Presentation Information
For your final presentation, you will either redo your old presentation (session 1 students) or create a new presentation (session 1 and 2 students). To do this project, you will record your presentation using Mac's Photobooth and create a movie podcast of your video. Finally, you will post your video on your blog by Monday, July 23rd.

- Read the syllabus and answer the questions on the handout given to you in class.
2. Childhood Place Response (collected)
- Write about a place that you remember from your childhood. This should be a place that you have good memories of. Describe the place. Where was it? What was it like? Why did you like this place?
- Try to write 4-6 sentences describing the place.
- Write your response on a separate sheet of paper and make sure to write your name on your paper.
- I will collect your response in Tuesday's class.
